Christian Education
Christian Education teachers teach various age-appropriate lessons that are God-centered, which include music, Bible verses, games, and crafts to enhance how the Bible lessons relate to their everyday life experiences.
Children’s Church meets from September through May for approximately 30 minutes during the worship service.
The children are encouraged to have engagement in each lesson, while also creating a strong personal relationship with Jesus and personal growth to share what they’ve learned with enthusiasm to be a life-long learner with Christian values in today’s world.
Mission
The Mission Committee engages the whole church body in serving others around the world, across the country, and down the street by working to live out the Matthew 25 mission of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, welcoming the stranger, and visiting the prisoner. The committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month. The committee is made up of a mission coordinator and seven members. The church pastor also attends the meetings.

Member Outreach and Engagement
In 2025 the church began a program of re- connecting with church members who are not participating in church activities. This began with sending out letters to each of these members inviting them back to the church and sharing the work of the church. These members have also been contacted by telephone with invitations to attend special worship services. These phone calls were appreciated and will be continued periodically.

Budget and Finance
The committee is responsible for preparing the annual budget for approval by the Session and submitting it at the annual meeting of the Congregation for approval. Throughout the year, it monitors spending and identifies potential cost and spending overruns using the budget.
Reports are prepared monthly for the session’s review and twice a year for the congregation. The committee also approves bills and invoices as requested by the church treasurer.
The committee ensures that the church’s financial books are audited by an independent source after the end of the calendar year. Our members help manage the church’s investments. These responsibilities ensure a sound financial program for the Church.
